LFGNP website revamped
5th October 2010
The LFGNP website has now been upgraded to reflect recent changes to the Partnership including its wider role as a green network organisation.
New features include information on places to visit in Fife, including sites managed by the Fife Coast and Countryside Trust. These cover a diverse range of habitats within the “Kingdom” ranging from coastal and esturine areas to wetlands, wildflower meadows, woodlands and upland ecosystems. Links provide good information for visitors wishing to access these areas. In particular this information might help to entice visitors from the Lothians to venture North of the Forth to explore the Kingdom of Fife.
The revamped website site also includes information on projects that are being undertaken by the Partnership. These include the Pentland Hills Woodland Action Plan and the Roslin Glen Management Plan. The list will continue to be added to as new projects get underway.
In addition the site includes more varied images to highlight the diversity of green networks and what these might mean to a range of users; be these farmers, developers, foresters, businesses or simply members of the public wanting to explore their local environment.
